Concept study

Döner Noir — a restaurant website

2026

Website for a fictional Ocakbaşı restaurant in Stuttgart. Atmospheric images, a menu with a photo for every dish, opening hours and a table request — warm, dark and without third-party requests.

Fictional brand: offers, prices, places and people in the demo are invented.

  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Canvas animation
  • Responsive
  • Self-hosted fonts
  • AI image production

Comparable project

€2,900 – €4,500

Guide prices, net, plus 19% VAT. You get a binding quote after a short call about scope and content.

Opening screen of Döner Noir: the words “Döner Noir”, next to a hand slicing the spit with a long knife in front of glowing charcoal.

The idea

A restaurant that carves exactly one spit a night doesn’t need a loud website. It needs atmosphere and clear answers: what’s on, when is it open, and how do I get a seat?

What the page shows

  • An opening image that glows up out of the dark, with sparks rising from the charcoal wall.
  • The craft in four steps, from the marinade to the first cut.
  • A menu set like print: dotted leaders, neatly aligned prices, Turkish dish names with German descriptions. On desktop, the photo beside the menu shows the dish under the mouse pointer.
  • Opening hours and a table request that checks the rest days. The demo sends nothing.

Technology

A fast single page without a framework. Fonts are served from the site itself; there are no third-party requests. The sparks and menu photos are small scripts that switch off with “reduce motion”; on phones the menu stays still and loads no extra photos. All images in the study are AI-generated (Higgsfield). For a real restaurant I recommend real photos of its own dishes.

What a comparable project costs

For a restaurant website of this scope I estimate €2,900 to €4,500, net. €2,900 is my website package: one page, online within ten working days of receiving complete content. Beyond that, the price mainly depends on:

  • the images: coordinating a photo shoot or preparing existing photos
  • a menu with a photo per dish that you can maintain yourself
  • reservations: a request form or a connection to a booking system
  • additional languages

Hosting, domain and ongoing maintenance are not included and can be offered separately.
